The Quincy Presidents Travel Division - operated by Quincy Youth Basketball - is a competitive program for boys in grades 6 through 8. Players must try-out during the open try-out dates in late October or early November. Some players who try-out may not be assigned to a team.
Quincy teams compete against teams from other South Shore towns in the South Shore Youth Basketball League. Teams are grade-based - so we have teams in the 6th grade division, the 7th grade division, and the 8th grade division.
While this is a competitive program, the focus is on player development. The middle school years are when we train our players so that they will be ready to compete at the High School level.
